The Suzuki Baleno has been on the automotive market since 1996, originally available as a practical compact in sedan, wagon, and hatchback body styles, sold in Europe and Asia-Pacific. In 2015, Suzuki revived the Baleno name with a sleek 5-door hatchback. Its first generation was produced from 1995 to 2002. It received a facelift in 1998 and was also known as the Suzuki Esteem in North America. The second-generation version featured “Liquid Flow” aerodynamic styling and was produced in 2016; it is still available with a redesigned front end and additional tech features. It was sold new by Suzuki New Zealand until it was discontinued in the local lineup in May 2022. Now, available as used models.
