The Mitsubishi Magna is a medium-sized car produced from 1985 to 2005. It was developed to replace the Mitsubishi Sigma, and it has three generations. The first generation, known as the Magna Elite, was produced from 1985 to 1991 and is identified by the TN and TP series. The second generation, the Mitsubishi Diamante, was manufactured from 1991 to 1997, known as Mitsubishi Sigma, Mitsubishi Verada, and Mitsubishi V3000 ( in New Zealand). The third generation, known as the Magna Sedan, was produced from 1996 to 2005 and is identified by the TE/KE series. The Magna was available for purchase as a new vehicle in New Zealand during its era.
