The Audi Q5 is a compact SUV that was introduced in 2008. It has three generations: the first generation, Typ 8R, produced from 2008 to 2017; the second generation, Typ FY, was produced from 2016 to 2025; and the third generation, Typ GU, started production in 2024 and is currently present. The first two generations are no longer available as new models in NZ. However, they can be found widely available on the used market as imported vehicles. The latest third generation is available as a new model in local dealerships across New Zealand.
